Our most popular beer, Sierra Nevada Pale Ale, is a delightful interpretation of a classic style. It has a deep amber color and an exceptionally full-bodied, complex character. Generous quantities of premium Cascade hops give the Pale Ale its fragrant bouquet and spicy flavor. “Sierra Nevada Pale Ale is the flagship beer, the one that made Chico famous. It is a flawless beer that opens with bright, perky high notes of maltiness and orange blossom and segues into a delectable hoppiness.” – Elaine Louie, Premier Beer—A Guide to America's Best Bottled Microbrews

Look
Copper in color.
Smell
Citrus and hops hit your nose like you'd expect along with a small mal character.
Taste
The piney citrus mix are up front in this one with a floral back end on the way down.
Feel
Crisp, light to medium bodied brew.
Drinkability
The Malt in this brew helps to tame things a bit but still this beer leans more towards the bitter side.

Look
a light amber color
Smell
lots of hop, floral and citrus
Taste
toasted, biscuit- like malt with crisp hops.
Feel
citrus and grapefruits combine with a touch of pine, some hop bitterness, and a clean finish
Drinkability
Easily to drink. Creamy and crisp; creaminess coming from the citrus flavors where there is a nice brief sweetness.
