Looking for a place to enjoy the Dodgers’ season-opener, whether before, during, or after the game?

In the spirit of opening day for the Dodgers, DTLA’s Boomtown Brewery is throwing a celebration to kick off the season today. Just a short walk to the Dodger Express pickup location (at Patsaouras Transit Plaza in the back of Union Station), Boomtown Brewery is open from the morning to kick the day off early with beer specials. Before and during the game, beer will be available for $5 for anyone wearing Dodgers gear.

After the game, guests can turn in their ticket for a $4 beer (limit one per ticket). In addition, food truck BrewWings will be available starting at 11am with a baseball-themed menu. The Dodgers game and audio will also be displayed on the projector.

Boomtown Brewery is open from 9am today through 10pm and is located at 700 Jackson Street in LA. In February 2017, DTLA’s Boomtown Brewery officially launched its brand-new taproom adjacent to its brewery and current event space. The taproom features 12 custom Boomtown beers, games, food trucks and an impressive DJ lineup! Highlights of the space include two bars: one in the front area and one in the event space, retro mismatched furniture that collectively create a seamless flow and a David Bowie tribute mural featured on the outside patio.

Beer is The Answer at Screens 'n' Suds Big Event

When most beer geeks look at their elixir filled glass, one either gazes at or thinks of ways to unmask it. Evaluating and demystifying to find the purpose or wonder of that particular beer. Either the brewer had the intention, the mistake, or the unknown with said brew. Labels can only take us so far into the imagination or process and concoction of said brew. Tonight for the Screens N' Suds 'Big Event' held at The Answer Brewpub, side project of An Mekong of Mekong Restaurant fame. The only answer needed to this question is hand made craft beer.
