Looking for one last chance to mix classical music and craft beer in LA this spring?

This Friday, the Los Angeles Philharmonic (LA Phil) will be hosting their fourth (and final) Casual Fridays event of the 2016-2017 season. The concert will feature a concerto by Mozart and a symphony by Haydn, followed by beers from a couple local breweries.

The event, entitled Mirga Conducts Mozart & Haydn, will be conducted by Mirga Gražinytė-Tyla, with Stephen Kovacevich on piano, playing Mozart's Piano Concerto No. 24 in C minor, K. 491 followed by Haydn's Symphony No. 31, “Hornsignal”. A keyboard legend applies a lifetime of experience to Mozart’s extraordinary concerto. LA Phil’s dynamic Associate Conductor brings out all the color and humor of Haydn’s horn symphony.

Partnering with the Los Angeles County Brewers Guild to host complimentary beer tastings on Casual Fridays, the LA Phil is seeking to engage their audience with delicious local suds. This week, Dry River Brewing and Kinetic Brewing will be providing complimentary beer tastings while concertgoers can mingle with members of the LA Phil.

Taking place at the Walt Disney Concert Hall in Los Angeles, this week’s event begins at 8pm.

Either the brewer had the intention, the mistake, or the unknown with said brew. Labels can only take us so far into the imagination or process and concoction of said brew. Tonight for the Screens N' Suds 'Big Event' held at The Answer Brewpub, side project of An Mekong of Mekong Restaurant fame. The only answer needed to this question is hand made craft beer.
