How do you celebrate living in a city with 329 days of sun? Golden Road Brewing has an answer for you.

This Wednesday, Golden Road Brewing will be hosting a special event on, appropriately, 3/29. Since Los Angeles experiences 329 days of sun, Golden Road is celebrating the sunny California days that inspired their 329 Lager at the second annual 329 Day Carnival!

With fresh pints of 329 Lager brewed day-of to celebrate the 329 days on 3/29, selling for, yes, you guessed it, $3.29 per pint. In addition to the regular version of the beer, there will also be special variations of the 329 Lager available, including 329 Lager with Jasmine, 329 Lager with Orange Blossom Honey and Juniper Berries, 329 Lager with Coffee on Nitro, and 329 Lager with cucumber, habañero, lime, and salt. It should be quite a treat to enjoy these beers!

And there will be more than just beer, as there will be a carnivalesque atmosphere, with delicious fair food and classic carnival games of all sorts. Attendees will also enjoy live music, a photo booth, face paint, balloon animals and more fun surprises.

The 329 Day Carnival will be taking place this Wednesday, 6-10pm, at their pub, located at 5410 West San Fernando Road in LA. Also, children and pets are welcome! For further updates, you can check the Facebook event page.

Beer is The Answer at Screens 'n' Suds Big Event

When most beer geeks look at their elixir filled glass, one either gazes at or thinks of ways to unmask it. Evaluating and demystifying to find the purpose or wonder of that particular beer. Either the brewer had the intention, the mistake, or the unknown with said brew. Labels can only take us so far into the imagination or process and concoction of said brew. Tonight for the Screens N' Suds 'Big Event' held at The Answer Brewpub, side project of An Mekong of Mekong Restaurant fame. The only answer needed to this question is hand made craft beer.
