Looking for apple flavors in your beer? Redd’s Apple Ale is adding more variety to its refreshing beer lineup by introducing new flavors and bringing back fan favorites.

Redd's Blueberry Ale returns by popular demand to the Redd's family, joining the new Redd's Raspberry Ale. Each flavor will be available year-round. The Redd's "Limited Pick" series also returns with new limited-edition flavors kicking off with the new Redd's Peach Ale. Similar to the original Redd's Apple Ale, all new flavors are five percent alcohol by volume, and each adds a unique twist to the signature crisp apple taste Redd's is known for.

The Redd's Blueberry Ale boasts a delicately balanced apple and blueberry aroma, while offering a taste that delights with ripe blueberry tones and a satisfying apple finish and the Redd's Raspberry Ale delivers juicy raspberry notes with hints of apple, providing the perfect balance of floral sweetness with Redd's crisp apple finish. To be honest, though, neither I nor the ladies with whom I tasted these beers enjoyed these two beers. Redd’s Raspberry Ale did not appreciate it, since it tasted too artificial, although I didn’t mind it so much. The nose was sweet-smelling, but the palate was somewhat disappointing to my drinking comrades. It wasn't as sweet on the palate, but decent. Redd’s Blueberry Ale was the opposite of Redd’s Raspberry Ale, in that it did not offer a good aroma, but it was decent on the palate, although it was still pretty meh.

That having been said, all of us greatly enjoyed the newest beer from Redd’s, which is their peach ale. Redd’s Peach Ale is part of their 2017 “Limited Pick” special releases and is a beer that leads with ripe peach notes balanced with Redd's gratifying apple taste. It had a lovely, enticing nose and had a lovely sweetness and softness to it. I found this to be incredibly delicious and it is a welcome beverage, especially for warm weather days. As disappointed as I was with Redd’s Raspberry Ale and Redd’s Blueberry Ale, the Redd’s Peach Ale is a pleasant surprise.

"There are two things we know our beer drinkers love: trying new things and flavor variety. This is why we're excited to bring different ingredients together and turn them into new refreshing beers," said Lisa Rudman, Redd's Family of Brands marketing manager. "We always strive to deliver the best quality beer and this year is no different for Redd's Apple Ale, as the 2017 product line-up is filled with new flavors and surprises."

All new flavors are available nationwide at most grocery and convenience stores in 6-pack 12-ounce Bottles, 16-ounce cans and in the Variety Pack. Redd's Blueberry Ale and Redd's Raspberry Ale are available in 12-pack 12-ounce bottles.
